삐꺽 거리는 소리 The Squeaking Sound 집을 소유하거나 아파트를 임대하거나 집에는 크고 작은 문제가 생긴다. 내 집이면 내가 책임지고 고쳐야 하지만 전세인 경우에는 어떤 문제가 일어나면 보고만 하면 고쳐 준다. 크고 낙은 많은 문제가 있지만 그 중의 하나는 사람이 드나드는 문을 열고 닫을 때 삐꺽 거리는 마찰 소리가 나서 불편하다. 기름 한 방울이면 해결될 것이나 가진 기름이 없기에 보고하자 사람이 바로 와서 한 방울 기름을 떨어뜨려 삐꺽 소리가 나지 않게 괴고 기분이 좋다.기계나 물건은 윤활유가 떨어지면 마찰소리가 난다. 사용하고 시간이 지나면 소리는 나게 되어 있다. 기름은 그 때에 사용되고 소리는 사랴지고 부드러워진다. 사람에게 삐꺽 거리는 소리가 난다. 몬 자체에도 있지만 두 사람이나 많은 사람 사이에 일어난다. 갈등 분쟁 투쟁 살상 전쟁이 일어난다. 사람과 자연에도 가뭄과 기근, 태풍과 홍수, 산불과 화제 등이 일어난다. 더욱 크고 기본적으로 사람과 하나님 사이에 일어난다. 두려움과 회피, 욕심과 우상 배신과 모욕 등으로 갈등으로 삐꺽 거린다. 해결하기 위하여 많은 노력을 하나 일시적인 효고가 있다가 다시 문제에 부닥친다. 하나님 편에서 해결책을 찾아 아들 예수를 보내고 그에게 기름을 붓고 성령을 주시어 일하게 하셨다. 삐꺽 소리를 없애고 삶이 부드럽게 돌아가게 하셨다. 그는 모든 계층의 사람들 곧 부자와 가난한 자, 도시와와 시골 어촌, 남자와 여자, 어린아이, 자유인과 종 사이의 마찰음을 자기 몸과 피를 쏟아 풀어주셨다. 동시에 그는 하나님과 사람 사이의 마찰을 해결하는 윤활유가 되었다. 그가 함께 하면 마찰음이 사라지고 평화와 조화가 일어난다. 그러지 못한다면 정말 예수께서 내게 우리에게 계시는가 물어 보아야 할 것이다. 교회에는 많은 잡음과 마찰음이 있다. 서로 부딪친다. 이를 풀고자 목사 장로 집사에게 기름을 붓고 안수한다. 이들의 사명은 맡겨진 교회 사역을 하지만 그것은 교회 안에서 밖에서 윤활유가 되어 마칠 소리를 없애고 조화와 하나를 이루는 것이다. 목사 장로 집사가 아니어도 세례 받은 성도는 성령으로 기름부음 받기에 함께 윤활유가 되고 이를 사용할 때 마찰 소리는 사라진다. 하나님과의 관계에, 이웃과의 관계, 나아가 세상과 자연에서 아름다운 관계를 맺으며 조화와 일치를 이루고 행복을 누릴 것이다. 스스로에게 물어볼 것은 내가 기름부음을 받았나? 내가 받은 기름을 사용하는가 하는 것이다. 그렇지 못하다면 마찰의 소리는 나의 책임임을 인식하고 그 일을 수행할 것이다. T he Squeaking Sound Whether one owns a house or rents an apartment, a home inevitably develops problems, both big and small. If it is my own house, I am responsible for fixing them. But if it is a rented place, when an issue arises, I simply report it and someone comes to repair it. There are many large and small inconveniences, and one of them is the squeaking friction sound that occurs when a frequently used door is opened and closed. A single drop of oil would solve the problem, but since I had no oil on hand, I reported it. Someone came right away, applied a drop of oil, and the squeaking sound disappeared. The door moved smoothly, and I felt good. Machines and objects make friction noises when they lack lubricant. With use and the passage of time, such noises are inevitable. Oil is applied at that moment, the noise disappears, and smooth operation is restored. People also make squeaking sounds. This happens not only within an individual, but between two people and among many people. Conflicts, disputes, struggles, violence, and wars arise. Between humanity and nature, there are droughts and famines, typhoons and floods, wildfires and disasters. More fundamentally and more profoundly, friction occurs between human beings and God. Fear and avoidance, greed and idolatry, betrayal and humiliation create conflict and produce a squeaking sound. Many efforts are made to resolve these problems, but they often have only temporary effects, and the issues return. From God’s side, a solution was provided. He sent His Son Jesus, anointed Him with oil, and gave Him the Holy Spirit to work. Through Him, the squeaking sounds were removed and life was made to run smoothly. He poured out His own body and blood to resolve the friction among people of every class—between the rich and the poor, the city and the countryside and fishing villages, men and women, children, the free and the enslaved. At the same time, He became the lubricant that resolved the friction between God and humanity. When He is with us, the friction sounds disappear and peace and harmony arise. If not, we must honestly ask whether Jesus truly dwells in us and among us. There are many friction sounds within the church as well. People collide with one another. To resolve these tensions, pastors, elders, and deacons are anointed with oil and ordained through the laying on of hands. Their calling is not merely to perform church duties, but to become lubricants—both inside and outside the church—removing friction sounds and bringing harmony and unity. Even those who are not pastors, elders, or deacons, but have been baptized, are anointed by the Holy Spirit. Together they become lubricants, and when this anointing is put into use, the sounds of friction disappear. In our relationship with God, in our relationship with our neighbors, and even in our relationship with the world and nature, we will form beautiful bonds, achieve harmony and unity, and enjoy true happiness. The question each of us must ask is this: Have I been anointed? And am I using the oil I have received? If not, we must recognize that the friction noise is our responsibility—and commit ourselves to addressing it.
